In response to COVID-19, the LexisNexis Risk Solutions events team is continuing to monitor the latest UK government guidance to ensure we are up to speed on the current and appropriate biosafety measures.

Following the All Secure Standard; a standardised approach to biosecurity adopted across the UK events industry and ratified by the UK government, we aim to prevent the transmission of COVID-19:

  • Risk Assessment – We will assess the prevalence of COVID-19 via the recommended Government Guidance alert levels before assessing each element of the event and implementing appropriate measures to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of transmission.
  • Cleaning, Hygiene & Ventilation – Working with 155 Bishopsgate, we will ensure regular and deep cleaning, the provision of sanitising stations, and encouraging PPE (personal protection equipment) where appropriate to reduce the likelihood of the virus being spread.
  • Communication & Training – We will clearly communicate all the relevant information on biosecurity measures with our audience. Onsite, we will take steps to further protect people by providing signage reminding attendees of the basics; regular hand washing, making extra space and covering coughs and sneezes.
